Are you a world language instructor? Do you get to listen to all of your students speak on a regular basis. Would you like to have your students have conversations with students in other countries, both synchronously and asynchronously? Join us in this session to learn how Moodle can be used to enhance your world language classroom. We will talk about the various modules that can be added to Moodle to allow students to record sound directly to a web page. Additionally we will discuss a few web 2.0 tools that integrate with Moodle and some open source applications that allow students to create podcasts and digital stories both at school and at home. Once the podcasts and stories have been created they can be uploaded to Moodle.
