Open Source? What is this thing and why would I want to use it?

This session is targeted to district/school leaders who are considering the use of open source in their educational environment. Topics of discussion will include a generic definition of what open source is with a brief overview of the GPL license, the benefits of using open source and some tips on starting an open source implementation in your school or district.
