Jenny Luca

on Thursday, 8 April 2010 16:45 - 17:30 in room Plenary Hall

Now, more than ever, teachers need to embrace the power of learning networks, virtual learning communities, to enhance opportunities for Professional Development and student learning. Jenny Luca is involved with Powerful Learning Practice, a Virtual Learning Community focused on job embedded professional development and driven by leading educators in the world of Web 2.0. This, and Jenny's personal immersion in networks like Twitter, have led to the transfer of this kind of learning to classroom practice in the form of ning environments and connected learning opportunites for the students at Toorak College.
