One Tool - Many Tales

Sallianne Griffith

on Wednesday, 7 April 2010 11:30 - 12:30 in room 218

Using the PowerPoint program as a creative tool, students in Early Years Classrooms build animated, digital stories. Using this program students create their own characters and scenery and make use of custom animation, timing and numerous other features of the program to produce outstanding cartoons; some with dialogue and sound effects. This project is especially valuable for visual learners and reluctant writers.

You will be delighted by the stories you will see, which have been created by students from Years 1-4. In this workshop session participants will create their own.

The session assumes a simple knowledge of PowerPoint (but it is not essential).
