Jarrod Robinson

on Thursday, 8 April 2010 16:45 - 17:30 in room 209

The session will explore the power of mobile phones and their potential in the classroom. The session will cover practical uses of everything from the most basic features such as SMS, MMS and bluetooth right through to the more advanced features on todays phones such as QR Code readers, GPS and video streaming.

The presentation includes practical examples of each of the features with examples of student work created using mobile phones.

These technologies have completly revolutionised my teaching practice opening up new possibilties for my students. For more information on my use of mobiles in the classroom you can check out
