The Best Educational Ideas in the World - Breakfast Edition
The challenge for even the most imaginative schools is to sustain innovation. Although digital technology may catalyze changes in practice, larger ideas create a productive context for sustaining innovative practice. Video vignettes and case studies explore some of the best educational ideas in the world and demonstrate how they may support, sustain or require transformational computing activities. Common lessons from each creative and seemingly unrelated context situate the construction of modern knowledge required for a rewarding life.
Some of the ideas explored include:
- Personal fabrication
- Reggio Emilia
- One Laptop Per Child
- El Sistema
- Generation YES
- Constructionism
