The Interactive Music Room, a classroom music program for interactive whiteboard
Kevin O'Mara
Presentation on Wednesday, 7 April 2010 11:30 - 12:30 in room 207
TAGS: Primary School, interactive, Music Program
In this ‘hands-on’ presentation, Kevin will be demonstrating how the interactive whiteboard can be used in a classroom music program, using the Music Room interactive software program (book 1 – beginning primary).
This program has been developed using Easiteach®, and the familiar functions of ‘touch & reveal’, ‘drag & drop’, ‘penmode, ‘edit mode’ etc have been harnessed to allow students to touch the screen to animate characters, play virtual instruments, test their musical knowledge and create their own scores. The program is suitable for specialist and non specialist teacher alike.
The combination of music and the interactive whiteboard is an exciting step forward … and loads of fun for both student and teacher.
Come to the presentation and see how it all works. Attendees will be given a DVD of how to use the program.
