Making IT Happen - eLearning Planning for School Leaders
Lynn Davie
Workshop on Wednesday, 7 April 2010 10:30 - 11:10 in room 209
presenting with Colin Warner and Christian Enkelman
How can school leaders develop a sustainable vision and implementation plan to create a vibrant 21st century learning environment.
School leaders have a responsibility to plan for sustainable improvement in eLearning, to integrate eLearning planning with other whole school planning frameworks and to provide for the technologies and digital literacies for the learners of today and tomorrow.
What are the challenges and what are the ways that school leaders can move forward towards full engagement of their teachers and students in learning in flexible, connected environments with reliable digital networks and multiple digital devices?
How can leaders leverage government initiatives and support to craft powerful solutions for their local contexts?
This session will support you to locate resources and pathways, and begin to find answers to the questions and dilemmas you might have. It will provide models of highly effective planning and whole school implementation of eLearning in a range of different contexts.
