Daniel Jitnah

on Thursday, 8 April 2010 14:00 - 14:30 in room Classroom

In this presentation we will look at issues relating to use and implementation of Open Source software solutions in a primarily proprietary software environment. There are technical, administrative and "People" issues that can hinder the adoption of Open Source Solutions. We will categorise and examine some of those issues, with a longer term aim of proposing a proper framework and pathway for integrating Open Source solutions in everyday teaching activities and in the Education sector more generally.

This is a Powerpoint free presentation!
