The Arts and ICT and the IWB in the Early Years

Suzanne Dunn

on Wednesday, 7 April 2010 16:00 - 16:40 in room 213

As a non-specialist teacher, the teaching of the arts can be a concern for the classroom teacher. This presentation shows practical examples of how to use various software programs to encourage children’s creativity and imagination in visual arts and as part of Inquiry Units. The use of an Interactive whiteboard and various websites enhance students understanding and participation in other areas of the arts – visual arts, artists, music and drama. I will show useful websites that have worked in my class.
