A 21st century classroom

This session will showcase what a 21st century classroom might look like, outlining some of the web2.0 tools that can be used to bring our classrooms into the digital age, including virtual classroom software eg elluminate, discoverE, blogs, wikis, nings and google applications. When and how could each be used? Learn of some of the challenges faced when working in online classrooms including cybersafety, codes of conduct, developing good ‘digital footprints’ etc together with possible solutions. Discover how experts can come into your classroom online, how to teach successfully in an online classroom.
