IdeasLAB - Understanding Virtual Pedagogies

Richard Olsen

on Friday, 9 April 2010 14:35 - 15:15 in room 211

ideasLAB is exploring the boundaries of what technology makes possible for teaching and learning.

ideasLAB has been incubated from seed funding provided by a unique partnership between the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Microsoft, Intel, Cisco Systems, the University of Melbourne’s Graduate School of Education and Hume City Council.

ideasLAB is building proof point projects to explore the possibilities for additional support across a broad range of areas, that directly or indirectly will provide a research and development foundation of opportunities for industry and government initiatives in the future.

This session will showcase ideasLAB’s Understanding Virtual Pedagogies theme specifically exploring Object Centred Sociality, Collective Knowledge and Scalable Open Online Courses.
