Teacher Librarians and Classroom Teachers - Allies or Foes - An Unconference Session
David Folland
Unconference Topic on Thursday, 8 April 2010 11:30 - 13:00 in room Conversation Pit
An Unconference session is a time where people can get together and discuss issues. Some people will have some questions, others may have some answers but the idea of a unconference session is to help everyone get a better understanding of an issue.
Many researchers have shown that collaboration with librarians can lead to improved student performance. In many schools Teacher Librarians are among the most willing to experiment with developments in ICTs. In this unconference session, we will be looking at experiences of working with teacher librarians and what classroom teachers with an ICT focus or passion can learn from them, and they can learn from us.
