In 2009, David presented the first steps of his story about how he uses new and emerging technologies with his severely and multiply disabled students in our Disability Unit. His presentation "Our journey using ICT, an IWB & a Wii! What a ride!" was warmly received at the Special Education Expo (Adelaide, 2009).
This session aims to share our journey using technology to engage our students with disabilities to enhance their learning for life. The student mix is across Middle and Senior School year levels and their individual skills and abilities means that the learning program must have multiple entry and exit points for all members of the group. We would like to invite you to join us as we continue to share our program and the positive experiences of this very diverse group of learners.
