In a time of escalating costs of Professional Development both to attend and to cover, in-house Professional Development is growing in it's importance. Added to this is the requirements for documented evidence of teacher development and the growing administrative workload can reduce the effective professional learning happening in a school.

However, utilising the strengths of the Learning Management Systems often in place in schools, leaders of Professional Development can increase their offering of courses, formalise the implementation and maintenance of these courses, and reduce administrative overheads.

Hear how Chris Woldhuis has utilised the Learning Management System "Moodle" to fulfil these goals at Northern Beaches Christian School through a modular approach that allows flexibility, accountability and reporting.
