Chris Woldhuis

on Friday, 9 April 2010 14:15 - 15:15 in room 217

Online learning is being utilised more and more by classroom teachers in Primary and Secondary schools. However facilitators often struggle with ownership of the course by students - often referred to as "buy in".

The presenter has studied and written about the value of building ownership in an online course and has practical experience in building an online community of secondary school learners. This session will present a range of simple and effective routines and tools that can be used to enhance your learning environment. Part of the session will be interactive with participants given the opportunity to give input into techniques, tips, tricks and tools that have been utilised to improve the ownership of the online learning environment.
