Have been "sending" students to Mark's site for 6 years and referencing it myself. It is brilliant. Always up-to-date and relevant for the needs of students as well as teachers. As an IT teacher Mark's website is inspirational and (I agree with Janet) the "bible" of ITA. Thanks for all your hard work Mark!
I cannot sum up in a few words how valuable Mark's IT site is to both teachers and students. He must spend hours updating and refining the site (which meets all the design elements!). It is obvious from the information on this site that he has an deep understanding of the course, information technology and a passion for it. Also it is amazing that he willingly shares this information. I have told my students year after year - why invent the wheel just go to Mark's website. An amazing resource - both Mark and the website.
Mark's IT site is a god-send for anyone wishing to (a) make IT more enjoyable for senior students, and (b) reduce the horrendously wordy ITA study design into more manageable and palatable portions. His website is "the bible" of ITA. Mark has the ability to explain complex things in a simple way, usually with liberal doses of his own special humour. He has an incredible knowledge of all things IT-related and an unquenchable thirst to find out more. His exam post mortems are essential reading. IT is a rapidly changing area to teach in, and it is fantastic to have someone like Mark who is willing to share his expertise with all, for free! He has boundless energy, a passion for the subject and a generosity of spirit, which is rarely seen.
